specially commissioned by UNEP to open a UN conference in Nairobi attended by World environment ministers from over 150 countries. Animated sequences by Shroomstudio explaining the 'value of ecosystem services and the importance of living trees as effective carbon stores.

Terra 2050
3 x 4 minute series
Commissioned by Katie Speight at Channel4 as a series of short animated documentaries about the future to relaunch the 3 Minute Wonder slot. Directed and produced at Shroomstudio, the series used interviews with ascademics, organisations and consumers to create a synthetic dialogue against a dynamic graphic narrative using many styles & forms of animation to convey its messages. The series was selected for Onedotzero International Festival and has been translated into 4 foreign languages for special selection
The iconic style of the film has been appropriated for other projects including The Green Party PPB and recently Talking Energy for e.on UK. stores.

Project: The Day My Life Changed

animation describing the dreams of Stuart Mangan's life as he adjusts to life as a quadriplegic
after a Rugby Accident. Stuart died during the making of the film which made the project a
special and poignant challenge.

United Nations REDD
This short film by Natasha Serlin for TVE about the benefits of reducing deforestation was specially commissioned to open the UN conference in NYC attended by World leaders ahead of the climate conference in Copenhagen. Animated sequences by Shroomstudio explaining the main elements of the R.E.D.D program include the 'value of ecosystem services, projections for 2100 and the importance of living trees as effective carbon stores.

Green Party Political Broadcast
The style of Shroomstudio's Terra2050 series was adopted to develop a graphic narrative from the party's 10 key messages by interviews with members of the public. The two broadcasts for national broadcast on BBC & ITV were directed and produced by Shroom in conjunction with The Ethical Agency and Contaminant media for the 2008 national local election and London Mayoral campaign. repeated in 2009.
