We’ve all got used to seeing amazing timelapse films so it can easy to dismiss them. This is different. With amazing camera rig manouevres and stunning scenery we see a day in the life of New Zealand from the break of dawn till early the next morning. This is Len Lye: animation in a most imaginative form and techniques we have been inspired by to design stage visuals for U2 and The Rolling Stones concerts.. just brilliant A pioneer of direct-animation, Len Lye (1901-1980) was also a highly innovative painter, photographer and poet, as well as an important figure in kinetic sculpture.
