Barber Shop

This is a great example of short form documentary using mobile technology by talented filmmaker Michal Dzierza. This short portrait piece about Fred the Barber shot in the sleepy town of Dubuque Iowa, also takes in his amazing collection of antique Barber’s equipment. Fascinating how many different razor sharpeners were used 😉

Filmed on an iPhone 6 in Dubuque, Iowa. Fred has been running his Art Deco barber shop for over 30 years and is one of the last remaining traditional barbers in this area. Music: Sunshine Moonshine by Richard Lacy, Sarah Elisabeth Lacy and David Bird
