I've always had a keen interest in keeping animals from a well developed marine aquarium to successfully breeding Iguanas. Finley was a moment of impulse. When I got home from the pet shop with a few months of supplies, I set up the cage, sat back and wondered what had I just done.... as Finley was biting, screaming, and generally behaving like a tantrum toddler. I needed a new perspective as realised I had just adopted a two year old...

That was October 2009, and I still wouldn't change him for the world, he drives me nuts but make me scream with laughter,it is like having a small child again, he copies my cough, tells me to 'shut up', swears and laughs, it's uncanny to hear and very entertaining. I am doubting now as to whether he is a male as he is showing more and more traits of a female, liking men but attacking women... it would confuse the hell out of (him) if i started saying "good girl" "bad girl", so he's a boy until he lays an egg!!! I think he will be a great companion on the trip and will give me endless entertainment on long days and nights...

Pets Pantry of Old Swan have kindly agreed to supply all the food and essentials for Finlay on the trip and donate to the charity, in return for advertising space on the sides of Zuma
