Vision 2020

Launching the Mayor’s office Vision for London 2020, this short film animated by Shroomstudio & produced in association with Atomized Entertainment forms an integral part of the message delivery for the campaign, aimed at engaging Londoners and decision makers in the plans for London’s future development which includes an improved public transport system.

The Key Message

Crossrail and tube upgrades, cycling superhighways across the city, plans for the building of 100,000’s of new homes and big projects like the re-development of Royal Docks; a major new deep water port in the Thames Estuary and ambitious plans to re-develop large areas with new communities. Voice over by Boris Johnson. Commissioned by the GLA.

The short film uses a stylised illustrated design to describe a bright and lively future London in the year 2020, where there are many green spaces, lots of new homes and a much improved public transport infrastructure with tube extensions, including cycling superhighways. The film also highlights the need for young people to have access to education to get jobs in the Tech, Media and Creative sector in which London now Excels.. Hear hear !!
